Refund policy

This Return and Refund Policy applies to purchases from Driftless Climbing LLC ("Driftless," "we," "us," or "our") through our websites and Shopify-powered checkout.
Standard Returns
You may request a return of an eligible item within 30 calendar days of purchase. To qualify, the item must be unused, in the same condition in which you received it, and in its original packaging. Proof of purchase is required.
Email info@driftlessclimbing.com before sending an item back. Please include your order number and the item you want to return. Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted.
Factory Seconds
Factory Seconds are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged because of disclosed cosmetic or manufacturing variations. This final-sale rule does not limit remedies that may be required by law or apply when Driftless shipped the wrong item or approves a claim for an item damaged in transit.
No other product is final sale solely because it is discounted unless the product page clearly states otherwise before purchase.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Inspect your order when it arrives. If an item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact info@driftlessclimbing.com promptly with your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs when available. We will review the claim and, when approved, arrange a replacement or another remedy required by applicable law.
Do not use or install an item that appears damaged or defective.
Cancellations
You may request cancellation before fulfillment begins by emailing info@driftlessclimbing.com with your order number. Cancellation is not guaranteed until we confirm it. Once fulfillment has begun, the order cannot be cancelled and the applicable return terms will apply after delivery.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for standard return-shipping costs. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return results from our error or applicable law requires otherwise. For an approved damaged or incorrect-item claim, Driftless will provide instructions and cover reasonable return-shipping costs when a return is required.

Use a trackable shipping service. Driftless is not responsible for a return shipment that is lost or damaged before it is delivered to us.
Inspection and Refunds
We will inspect returned items and notify you whether the return is approved. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Your bank or payment provider may require additional processing time before the refund appears.
We may reduce or deny a refund when an item is used, damaged after delivery, missing parts, or returned outside this policy, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Exchanges
Replacement availability is not guaranteed. Contact us before returning an item if you want a replacement. When a replacement is unavailable, an approved eligible return will be refunded to the original payment method.
International Orders
Customs duties, import taxes, brokerage charges, and similar international fees are not refundable by Driftless. Additional rights under applicable consumer law are not affected by this policy.
